1000's of NJ Saltwater Fishing Reports, Dozens of Sources, Maps, Wrecks, Historical Search

The 2014 summer flounder season in N.J. concludes Saturday night. Fluking wasn't  good after recent storms, and there were no reports on the day before that closure except from Capt. Hans Kaspersetz who had Tony D'Anna aboard Sheri Berri from Baker's Marina on the Bay in Highlands as he managed three keeper fluke on Flynn's Knoll in the morning. Kaspersetz recently returned from Hawaii, where he trolled a 670-pound blue marlin. The surf at Bay Head was still rough and dirty Friday morning, but could be fishable by tomorrow. It's a whole new ball game after the storm, but I hope to have more info tomorrow as the weather forecast is decent.
