Jigging blues are back again, though not in full force. The Golden Eagle from Belmar got into blues from 5-to-10-pounds on Run-Off hammered jigs and Crocs -- though it took along run to find them.  Capt. Dave Riback reported from the Queen Mary in Point Pleasant that blues up to 12 pounds hit both jigs and poppers. Rob and Sammy Kalishman combined for five. Riback said spinning outfits were most effective as it was important to cast to the blues. Capt. Stan Zagleski was into big fluke again today with his Elaine B. II from Highlands. Tom Hollywood Sr. of Staten Island had a limit up to the pool winning 7 5/16 pounds, and Tom Jr. boated three to 5 13/16 pounds.  Even the ocean was quickly back in shape. Joe Melillo, at Castaways Tackle in Point Pleasant weighed a striper of 11 1/4 pounds caught on clams at Bay Head by Al Colfer of Point Pleasant -- who released another.
