1000's of NJ Saltwater Fishing Reports, Dozens of Sources, Maps, Wrecks, Historical Search

There appears to be a brief period of fishable weather, and there should be some anglers taking advantage of it Sunday. The Golden Eagle from Belmar will be seeking mackerel once again, though today's search only produced a few plus some herring. The water temperature offshore is down to 40 to 41 degrees -- which should be fine for mackerel. The surf should be fishable, and some anglers will probably give it a try as school stripers were hitting last January under similar conditions.
