Roads are clear along the Shore, but it's questionable when fishing will resume. Water temperatures will probably fall further with the melting snow, and there wasn't much surf action with school stripers to begin with. Be sure to check with party boat skippers before coming down for blackfish or mackerel.

February 10-12-14, 2014!! It's a three night, six hour class that
covers everything from start to finish involving custom rod-building.
We cover blanks, grips , reel seats, guides, thread, names , decals and
epoxy finishes. Students will learn finding the spline, installing grips and
seats, guide placement, decorative wraps, final coating and everything in
between.
For over 30 years, we have been teaching this basic rod-building
course, and it has helped hundreds of students start a great, rewarding
hobby!
