1000's of NJ Saltwater Fishing Reports, Dozens of Sources, Maps, Wrecks, Historical Search

October 9th, 2014

This morning, we fished on the west edge of the mud hole and fishing was PHENOMENAL! We started catching blues anywhere from 8-16 lbs both drifting and jigging. They ate whatever you threw at them today, bananas to 47’s to crocs to plain or tailed, it didn’t matter. We had one of the best days of fishing today so far this year just slaughtering gorilla blues all day. There were times where we had up to 20 on at a time. You could not have asked for a better day of angling! Our pool winner was Uberto Rodriguez from Paterson, NJ with a 16 lb blue.
