We continued fishing south of our inlet this morning. We saw some scattered bird life and read bait in different places. Made a few drifts and picked a couple keeper stripers on each drift. There was a lot of boat traffic again running over swirling fish and trolling down the sides of us. We then found a good area with readings of fish that wanted to cooperate. Over the course of 3-4 drifts, we caught a couple handfuls of keeper stripers and released some shorts. We also caught a handful of blues. In the late morning, thick fog came rolling in and we lost the majority of bird life and we picked a couple more fish the rest of the day. Our pool winner was Dan Hamilton.
Sailing daily for stripers and blues from 7:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
With Miss Belmar's 3 engines and a total of 2,100 horsepower, she is the first boat to the fishing grounds every day and we guarantee it. No other boat comes close. Try us and you'll see why.
