1000's of NJ Saltwater Fishing Reports, Dozens of Sources, Maps, Wrecks, Historical Search

06/20/15 The weathermen missed the forecast today as if anyone should really be surprised! The east wind was stronger than predicted. With some ladies and youngsters aboard with our weekend regulars we were limited as to where we could fish. Spent a part of the day in Sandy Hook Bay with the entire fleet where we had some shorts and a few keepers most drifts. When the conditions improved later in the day we fished off by ourselves and had several big fish. A decent day overall considering the conditions with some nice fish going into the coolers. J. D. Martyn, Moore Township, PA., took the pool with a nice 7 pound 9 ounce fish. John Vanderstad, Pompton Lakes, NJ, ended up with three keepers including a nice 5 pound 9 ounce fish at the final whistle. Ann Lavelle, Jersey City, NJ, went home with three keepers also including a 5 pound 11 ounce fish. No problem with the weather tomorrow other than some possible early showers.
