06/19/15 Had decent conditions this morning and had okay action with shorts and some keepers mixed in everywhere we stopped. Could have stayed with it all day but when the wind and current finally got together later in the morning we chose to try to look for more of the BIG FLUKE we are noted for and have been catching recently. Giant bluefish infested those grounds today and took baits, gulps and spros as fast as they hit the bottom so we had to leave the area! 10-15 pound bluefish on light fluke tackle gets ugly real fast!! Finished the day back closer to home for the last couple of drifts. Kim Lee, Queens, NY, took the pool with a fish just shy of 5 pounds on the last drift of the day. Wind and tide together tomorrow should give us a good drift most of the day.
