As forecast it was a gorgeous day on the water with a nice group of our fluke regulars. The fellas had their best fishing this morning in a couple of areas with the outgoing tide. They had a mix of short action and keepers each drift until the current finally died. We checked a couple of different areas after the change but it seemed like the fish did not want the colder water brought in with the incoming tide. Some of the guys ended up with two or three keepers each and most had at least one to take home for dinner. Young Gavin Myers, New Egypt, NJ, took the pool with a very nice 7 pound 5 ounce fish!
