1000's of NJ Saltwater Fishing Reports, Dozens of Sources, Maps, Wrecks, Historical Search

Another nice day on the water with mainly regulars looking to have some action with blackfish. Our best fishing today was the first couple of hours this morning before the current changed. It was not the fishing we had yesterday with the fish not biting as aggressively but the guys were still able to pick at the tog. Frank Lavelle, Jersey City, NJ, led the way with eleven legal sized fish while only keeping his limit. Dave Brink, Middletown, NJ, took the pool. Very slow porgy and seabass bite again for the boats that tried so we will be putting our effort this week into finding some quality blackfish for you guys to take home. Today was our third trip in a row that we caught at least one fluke so the water temperature is still pretty warm.
