What was SUPPOSED to be a workable15-20 kts from the east was a constant east at 30+ kts with gusts all day long making the area we have been working the past couple of days totally unfishable!!! We did some searching--unlike most of the other boats--and took our lumps in a couple of areas but found mainly shorts with a handful of keepers for the day. At least we tried!! John Vanderstad, Pompton Lakes, NJ took the pool with a 6 pound 4 ounce fish! Weather sounds better for tomorrow so hopefully we can get back to where we were fishing the past couple of days. See you in the morning.
