The strong northerly wind this morning kept us from the deeper water for the first part of the day and as a result we had tough fishing early on with mostly shorts. Once the wind died and the current changed we were able to spend the rest of the day where we wanted and had pretty decent fishing with a mix of shorts and quality keepers until it was time to come home. Ron Becker, Springfield, NJ, led the way with a very nice 7 pound 9 ounce pool fish! The fluke season closes on September 27 so get them while you can!! See you in the morning.
