11.3 POUND DOORMAT CAUGHT TODAY!! THAT IS DOORMAT NUMBER SIX--YES (6)--FOR THE SEASON!!!!

It was another gorgeous day to be on the water with a great group of EB II regulars! We went right back to where we have been fishing all week and had very good fishing once again with tons of action and a bunch of NICE fish to go around. Very good drift all day with a light current made for easy and fun fishing with great results to show for it!! Our SIXTH DOORMAT of the season weighed in at 11 POUNDS 3 OUNCES and was caught by Tom Hollywood, Jr., Staten Island, NY, using a plain hook with a large gulp--nothing fancy needed today!! CONGRATULATIONS TOM!!! There were a bunch of other nice fish today as well. Jim Page, Interlaken, NJ, had four keepers up to 5 pounds 9 ounces. Dylan Myers, New Egypt, NJ, had fish up to 6 pounds 5 ounces. John Van Prooian, Rockaway, NJ, had four keepers with the two largest being 5 pounds 7 ounces and 5 pounds 13 ounces. Carmine Rutledge, Newark, NJ, had four keepers up to 5 pounds 9 ounces. Jim Florio, Belleville, NJ, had several fish up to 5 pounds 7 ounces. Very good fishing all week and more great weather on tap for the weekend. See you in the morning.
