08/16/14 Another day of westerly wind. Got right up to the area that we have been fishing and managed to get in several drifts with good keeper and short action before the current changed and we lost our movement for yet another day. Once we stopped moving the bite slowed with the guys working the spros/gulps having most of the action for the remainder of the day. We tried several different areas and found the same conditions everywhere. Some nice keepers spread around the boat but not enough to make us happy. Tom Hollywood Sr., Staten Island, NY, had a 5 pound 6 ounce fish. Dave Brink, Middletown, NJ, had a 5 pound 9 ounce fish. Joe Enriquez, New Egypt, NJ, took the pool with a 6 pound 7 ounce fish.
