08/11/14 Fished same area as yesterday. Started off with a very nice mix of keepers and shorts for the first couple of hours before the current switched and we lost the drift. The guys working the spros/gulps hard continued to pick at some nice fish until the bite finally died after noon. Finished the day in our bay with lots of action but few keepers mixed in. Considering we had no drift for a large bulk of the day we were still ended up having a decent catch. Sam Ingallinesi, Pompton Lakes, NJ, took the pool with a 5 pound 11 ounce fish.
