Went back to the same area as yesterday and had a decent day overall. We had no drift for part of the morning but still managed to pick away at a mix of shorts and quality fish. Once the current finally got started the guys and gals had better fishing with more nice fish than shorts for the remainder of the day. The fellas using spro set ups did best today with the lack of drift this morning. Larry White, Rutherford, NJ, is one of our long time fluke pros and had his limit by 10:20 this morning!! Mike Paci, Lodi, NJ, had three keepers on the day which included a pair of identical 6 pound 4 ounce fish that took the pool. Dominick Marcantonio, East Hanover, NJ, just missed his second pool in a row with a nice 6 pound 1 ounce fish of his own. Just about everyone had action and keepers were spread all around the boat. See you in the morning.
