After the weatherman kept everyone home yesterday with a piece of crap forecast it was good to see a bunch of our regulars eager to fish today. We found good fishing in the same areas that we have been working for some time now. The folks ended up with a good catch of quality fish once again with plenty of short action mixed in. Everyone got in on the action with limits and quite a few fellas ending up with three or four nice fish each. Most of the gang had a bag of meat to take home. Nelson Mendoza, Kinnelon, NJ, had an easy limit. Tony Marcantonio, East Hanover, NJ, had four quality fish up to 6 pounds 11 ounces. Jack Decker, Blairstown, NJ, just missed his limit. Dominick Marcantonio, East Hanover, NJ, took the pool with his 7 pound 6 ounce fish. Tiny Goldman, Brick, NJ, had three keepers up to 5 pounds 7 ounces. Emil Acito, Bogota, NJ, had all quality fish up to 5 pounds 9 ounces. "Undertaker" Mike had a couple of keepers including a 5 pound 3 ounce fish. Nice easy fishing and lots of smiles is what it is all about!! Great weather on tap the rest of the week so take advantage of the fishing. See you in the morning.
