QUALITY FISH TODAY!! We had a better drift most of the morning which gave us better fishing for mostly QUALITY fish. Made a number of drifts in the same area that we have been fishing lately and were rewarded with more keepers than shorts with most of the keepers being between 4 and 6 pounds!! The folks worked hard and were able to put a bunch of fish in the coolers by the end of the day. Gulps and natural baits worked equally well. Tiny Goldman, Brick, NJ, had four keepers with three being 4 pounds 9 ounces, 5 pounds 6 ounces and 6 pounds 1 ounce and he tied for the pool with Carmine Rutledge, Newark, NJ, who had an identical 6 pound 1 ounce fish. Red Zisa, Totowa, NJ, had four keepers up to 5 pounds 7 ounces. Teddy K, South River, NJ, had four keepers that included a 5 pound 4 ounce and 5 pound 6 ounce fish. Pete Morris, Garwood, NJ, had a 5 pound 13 ounce fish. George Currie, Lanoka Harbor, NJ, had a 5 pound 4 ounce fish of his own. Other nice fish were spread around the boat also. Tomorrow looks fine. See you in the morning.
