8+ POUND POOL FISH TODAY!! Another doom and gloom forecast kept a lot of the regulars home today once again, and once again it was a shame since the sun was out for a good part of the day and the winds were light. Not a drop of rain in fact until we were on our way home. We sailed with a few of our regulars and were only one of a few boats on the bay today. We were happy with the fishing we found early this morning when we had a drift. Once the current died the fishing slowed to a pick for the guys using the spro/gulp rigs.Tiny Goldman, Brick, NJ, had plenty of action today and ended up with four keepers to 4 pounds 8 ounces. Dominick Marcantonio, East Hanover, NJ, also had plenty of action with gulps and wound up with four nice fish as well which included his 8 pound 10 ounce pool fish!!
