06/21/14 The east wind that was called for blew harder than predicted making ocean fishing a no-go for the ladies and youngsters we had onboard. The rest of the fleet were all there with us in the bay today as well. Bounced around from area to area with wind against tide and no drift for a good part of the morning which made for a pretty slow day overall with some shorts and a few keepers everywhere we went. Our best fishing came afternoon when we finally got a good drift and were able to put most of our fish in the coolers. We do not control the conditions. Today's keepers were mainly all QUALITY fish once again. Melissa Thomas, Mullica Hill, NJ, had three keepers which included the 5 pound 11 ounce pool fish and another of 5 pounds 9 ounces. Nice job Melissa!! Hopefully better conditions tomorrow! See you in the morning.
