We finally had a drift for an area we wanted to try the past couple of days and it payed off with our best fishing of the past week. No slaughter for sure but steady fishing with a mix of shorts and very NICE keepers to keep things interesting all day. The guys have had to work for the fish lately and today was no different. Bill Powell, Wyomissing, PA., had a couple of keepers including the 5 pound 11 ounce pool fish. John Talbott, Jersey City, NJ, just missed a tie for the pool with a 5 pound 10 ounce fish of his own. Joe Salerno, East Hanover, NJ, led the way with four nice fish including a 5 pound 5 ounce and 4 pound 13 ounce fish. Looks like good conditions for the same area tomorrow. See you in the morning.
