06/14/14 Great weather as we expected for today. Unfortunately, some swell still remained on the ocean and that fishing has not bounced back yet. Hopefully the fish will bite better in the ocean tomorrow. It was just a slow pick for us everywhere we tried today in the bay with the fleet with lots more boats running around than the past few days. We found some shorts on every stop but not enough keepers to make us happy. A few of the guys did manage multiple keepers for their efforts but most were not as lucky. Hey, some fish, a bunch of good people and lots of laughs still beats sitting at home!! Teddy C., South River, NJ, took the pool with a 5 pound fish. Weather looking GREAT again for tomorrow so treat dad to a day on the water!! See you in the morning.
