We had no drift with wind against tide the first couple of hours this morning which gave us a slow bite. When the tide finally changed we were able to find a handful of fish on each drift everywhere we stopped for the rest of the day in the bay. There was a very large ground swell which kept us out of the ocean today. We ended up having guys with two and three keepers each and some had less. Mike Naipawer, Bloomingdale, NJ, and Dennis "Z-Man" Ziober, Port Reading, NJ, tied for the pool with identical 5 pound 10 ounce fish. Nice weather the rest of the week.
