We took a little gamble this trip and went looking for some new ground and it really paid off. The Mahi fishing was just amazing, we had all limits and so many fish came in on our last stop that we had to put crew tags on them. Â The size of the fish were on average 6 to 10 pounds but we had a good amount of 12 to 18 pounders. The catch was 282 Mahi, 1 White Marlin (60 lbs), one Swordfish (110 lbs), 1 Bigeye tuna (130 lbs), 5 Yellowfin tuna (50 to 60 lbs), and 61 Longfin tuna (35 to 50 lbs).
