6/27/15: Monday starting out was a bit slow, some sea bass were still to be caught and a 3-lb fluke took the pool by Billy Seidle of South Hampton, NJ. Tuesday, the drift picked up so we fished in shallow water, with some nice keeper fluke to be found. Fred Verdi of Lawrenceville, NJ won the money with a nice 5.2-lb fluke, and is now leading in our tournament! Wednesda,y our pool winner was "Cheeseman" John Weber of Beach Haven West, with a 3-lb fluke, and we had a dead tie on Thursday between Mike V of Waretown, NJ and Rich Klemm of West Milford, NJ, each landing a 4.8-lb flattie. On Friday we had more sea bass but a 3.8-lb fluke won, caught by Mark Keple of Manahawkin, NJ.

Monday afternoon we had the privilege of sailing with a great group. Thanks Matt Davine for a wonderful fishing trip in honor of Jack Monahan. It's nice to know someone can be remembered by organizing a fun event such as this!

I wish everyone well after that terrible weather we had Tuesday afternoon. Many homes and properties were damaged, but as long as YOU are safe and sound, let's put things back together and be thankful we are still in one piece.

The Carolyn Ann lll will be making the big change on Friday, from one 6-hour trip to two 4-hour trips. And by the way, if you decide to stay on for the afternoon trip, the price is $20.00. Let's make a day of it! Sea you at sea!
