12/16/14: The big countdown begins! Fifteen more days of 6 keepers per man! Then it goes to 4 per man on the first of January. Hey, 4 or 6, it's the fun of catching blackfish.

Saturday's trip was very windy, which made it tough to feel the bite. Not for Bretton Lutz of Parkertown, NJ, who won the pool with a 4.5-lb blackfish. Sunday was gorgeous out there, the bite was on for Ken Nutt Sr. (Fox) of Waretown, NJ, who won with a nice 7-lber.

We are continuing to sail Saturday and Sunday as long as the weather is decent. Also on New Years Day! Wishing everyone a safe and happy holiday season! Hope to see you at sea.
