1000's of NJ Saltwater Fishing Reports, Dozens of Sources, Maps, Wrecks, Historical Search

12/2/13: You couldn't have asked for a nicer three days. A little cold but not bad. The galley always is warm and comfortable, so there is a place your can get in for a few minutes to warm your hands. Of course for the ones who refuse to leave the rail for a second, in fear they might miss a bite, bring hand warmers! Ha! That's most of us! Overall the fishing was slow on Friday, water was cold and dirty from the blow on Wednesday and Thursday. As Saturday came, we did a little better and Sunday was even better. We had a drastic change in bottom temperature (47 degrees from the mid 50's last week) so the fish bite was off, but each day it got better, as the fish were getting used to the change. The pool winners were Arron Pennise of Burlington, NJ, who won with a 4-lb blackfish, also Bob Pianetti of Manahawkin, NJ with a 5.2-lber (he's back), and Kenny D of Philadelphia, PA with a nice 5.5-lber. We are looking forward to good blackfishing this December, hopefully the weather will be good. Friday, Saturday and Sunday, through December. Lets get some Tog, tired of turkey! Sea you there, Gina
