Finally found a patch of fish I could work most of the morning with the incoming tide. All nice fish up to 8 pounds! Most of the larger fish where caught on the Buck-tails today, especially Adam who lead the way with 3 fish up to 6.3 pounds.
Adam unfortunately, In my estimation lost the fish of the year after the change of tide. Saw him hook up and the fish hardly moved off the bottom, when he did have it coming, the head shake and bend in his rod had the poor kids heart pounding, from the way the fish was acting I would have bet it would be at least 10-12 pounds, a few more cranks and we would have at least seen it but another good head shake and the fish was gone!!

John Froelich Had two great fish including the pool winner at 8 pounds! A few more keepers around the boat and a whole bunch of shorts for some action today.
Still not great, but much better than what we have had the past few trips.
