Pregame Show
It was a tough day for some anglers yesterday. We had a good group of jig fisherman who simply could not get anything going. The fluke seemed sluggish, and the guys using bait prevailed. There also was an influx of short fish, something we haven’t seen since last week. Today is a new day. We set our sights on putting some fish in the boat, and possibly landing a few more big fish. We will see how it goes.

Conditions
The wind is light out of the west, combined with the incoming water will make for perfect drifting conditions for the first few hours.

May/June Flukemaster Classic Update
Carmine Patullo is the new leader with a 8lb 4oz fluke. The pot now stands at $970.00.

First Drift
What’s better than catching 3 immediate keepers up to 6 pounds on the opening whistle? Nice!!!!!!!!

Second Drift
We caught some fish right off the bat again, and not much after. Running back up for another.

Third Drift
Nice!!! We had a moment in the pulpit with two beauts coming up simultaneously. We are picking at the shorts, with the occasionally keeper coming over the rail.

Fourth Drift
A couple more big fish. Paul Alesi caught one that is close to 6 pounds and Duke #1 caught one very close to that size as well. . . Chartreuse Gulp is the ticket today.

Fifth Drift
We did a little recon and made this drift in a different area that is close by. Sometimes when you roll the dice, things don’t work out. Not a bite. We are going to head back to where we were this morning and see if we can get things going again.

Sixth Drift
Things have slowed considerably since the tide change. We pick a few fish on each drift with and a keeper mixed in every now and then. Nothing like we had it earlier in the day.

Seventh Drift
No good. The bottom has fallen on the fishing since the tide change. We are going to change up the area and try in some holes to our south.

Postgame Show
We started the day with a bang and it ended with a dud. We had pretty good fishing up until the tide change, but once that happened, the fish just did not want to eat. There were three fish 6 pounds and over with the pool winner weighing 6 pounds 9 ounce caught by Paul Alesi.
