Capt. Phil Dulanie and Capt. Dean Lambros put together solid trips Thursday to Friday in the Hudson with a combined 30 yellowfin and longfin put in the boats! Finally - the fishing has opened up close to home.

Capt. Dean followed that up Friday to Saturday with 7 yellowfin, a big-eye and lost a blue marlin 30 feet from the boat on the 48 Viking while on the 60 Ritchie we did a day trip just for marlin and saw 1 blue and 4 whites hooking 3. We were trying to get some of the 5 kids we took with us from ages 14-10 on fish so we jumped off most but did release one for Jack Hempstead - way to go Jack!

More interesting - while we were marlin fishing on the 60 and Dean was headed home on the 48 to pick up another trip the big-eye fishing turned on big time. Most likely 20-30 big-eyes were caught Friday to Saturday with most coming Saturday morning!!

Looks like we'll be at the dock again until Thursday this week then hopefully fishing right through the weekend.

We Have a Last Minute Spot on the 60 Ritchie for This Saturday-Sunday - Full Boat $5995 - nothing on it again until September.
