Atlantic Highlands fluke fishing September 4

We have been making both morning and afternoon trips everyday from the Atlantic Highlands marina. The past few days we have seen plenty of action with everybody catching fish. There are a lot of throw backs but there are some nice size keepers caught. At times the drift can be fast so heavy weights are needed. As I said before it is a good idea to bring  a light and heavy rod  to be ready for the drifting conditions. Both morning and afternoon trips have been pretty much the same. Today Ted Sarn from Huddleston Va. caught our biggest fluke of the season at 11 lbs. Ted used to fish with me on the Happy before moving away. You can see his picture in the gallery with some of the of other nice size fluke. We are sailing everyday making two trips (8am to 12:30 and 1:30 to 6pm). Looking forward to seeing everyone.
