Atlantic Highlands fluke fishing August 1

We have been making both morning and afternoon trips everyday from the Atlantic Highlands marina. The fishing the past few days has seen plenty on action with shorts and some keepers when the conditions are good. Today the conditions were not good on the morning trip. We did not have a good drift. We were able to pick at the shorts and a few keepers in each area. On the afternoon trip the drifting conditions were very good and so was the fishing. Everyone caught plenty of shorts and there were more keepers caught. The weatherman scared most of the people this afternoon but those who came had a nice trip. Today was an example of how important conditions are. Every trip is different.  I put some new pictures in the gallery so take a look. We are sailing everyday making two trips (8am to 12:30 and 1:30 to 6pm). looking forward to seeing everyone.
