Atlantic Highlands fluke fishing July 2

We have been sailing everyday from the Atlantic Highlands marina making both morning and afternoon trips. The fishing the past few days has been the same. We still have found the best fishing in Sandy Hook and the Flynns Knoll areas. On the afternoon trips the wind has been picking up out the Southeast so the bay has been nice and calm. The morning trip today was about the same as it has been but the afternoon trip was much better. The weatherman scared a lot of people but those who showed up had a nice afternoon. The south wind made for a good drift in the bay. The action was some of the best we've had. Most of the fish were shorts but we ended up with one of our better catches of keepers Everyone caught fish even though there were no limits some people had from one to three keepers. There are some new pictures in the gallery so take a look. We are sailing everyday making two trips (8am to 12:30 and 1:30 to 6 pm). Looking forward to seeing everyone.
