Well the wind did howl out there today,,,not a problem though,,it was flat calm..West winds keep it flat along the beach where we are fishing...The bites were there today,,,,our first limit of blackfish Drew had by 10am...Other guys followed and ended up having a really good day with limits plus caught and some quality fish ....Drew had the pool fish,,,it weighed in at 11lbs..12oz...We also had some other piggies on that got shaved off to bite another day...We even had some first timers today catch there first Tog....overall I was happy with how we ended up....White leggers worked better today but we did catch fish on green crabs...,Get together with the crew whenever you come down and we can dial you in on what has been working well...Another note for those newcomers as well,,,,keep the store bought rigs with all the jewelry on the rack at the tackle store and let us rig you up correctly...I have been seeing a lot of stuff with giant swivels and beads and just nonsence that tangles up with stuff and guys wonder why they never catch blackfish..Get together with me or the mates and we can show you what to get....The simpler the rig the better...Tomorrow looks great again,,,gusty west winds like today but warmer....See ya for coffee....pics
