December 22

We were able to get out in front of the
rain and wind coming in with the
Christmas Eve storm.  Aboard were
Joe, Joe, Mel, Mike, Clyde, and Bob.
We went togging today, and the fish bit
well for us!  We fished three drops.
Our first was slow with a scratch bite
and only a few shorts.  Drop number
two was much better with some nice
fish making the box along with
numerous shorts and good life.  Drop
number three was the kicker.  Excellent
fishing with lots of life and nice fish in
the mix with the remainder of our limit
hitting the box to 7 pounds.  We got in
before it got too nasty, as well.
Awesome day, guys!

December 21

Another day on the offshore sea bass
grounds today!  With Greg, Shawn,
Traci, Jeff, Chuck, and Timmy aboard,
we shoved off in the dark enroute to
where we had them yesterday.  Fishing
was slow early, but moving around a
bit really helped as we found some
nice pockets of fish at times and
finished with a limit of sea bass to 5
pounds hitting the box and the
average size to the fish being quite
nice.  Once again, on the way home,
we ran over blue planet style bird life
and made one drift and jigged a whole
bunch of stripers from schoolies to 25
pounders.  GREAT day!

December 20

What a day today!  Aboard with us for
an offshore sea bass run were Bruce,
Greg, Nick, Lisa, Jim, and Sam.
Fishing was excellent.  We had good
sea bass jigging with a limit of sea
bass to 6 plus pounds going in the
box.  On the way home, we ran across
a nice bird play and had a big bonus
jigging stripers to 30 pounds before
heading to Harbor View!  What a day!
Thanks everyone!

December 17

Another good day of striper fishing with
Denny, Brian, Stan, Ken, Bruce, and
Greg.  We started out jigging some
small schoolie sized bass with a small
keeper mixed in here and there.  After
a move, we got on a good jig bite on
much bigger fish and had a ball jigging
fish to 30 pounds!  What a day!

December 16

Ross Hartley and company were
aboard today.  The guys decided they
wanted to target tog, so we shoved off
just after day break.  The bite wasn't
red hot, but we had a slow pick of fish
throughout the day and made multiple
moves to try and find a good chew.
We boxed 18 fish to 8.5 pounds, had
many shorts, and plenty of swings and
misses to make you appreciate the art
of togging!  Thanks guys!

December 15

EJ Pellechia, Chris, Chris, and Tom
were aboard today.  Taking advantage
of the favorable forecast, the guys
decided to run offshore to look for big
sea bass.  We found them good and
put a beautiful limit in the box with fish
to 6 pounds on both bait and jigs.
Great day!

December 14

Greg, Shawn, Traci, Jeff, Bruce, and
Terry were aboard today after a week
of rough weather!  We had to change
zip codes a bit, but striper fishing was
fantastic and we were able to get them
jigging which was very nice!  Lots of
nice fish came over the rail and a great
day was had by all!

December 6

Shawn, Traci, Joe, Tom, Terry, and
Tom were aboard The Bomb today for
an open boat striper trip.  The fish
played hard to get during the early
morning stage of the trip, but as the
tide got rolling the bite took off and
finished up late morning with an
absolutely smoking bite on the troll that
produced a fast limit of fish to 30
pounds and a bunch of fish released,
too.  Today was a case in point of
patience pays as they didn't want to
bite good for a while, but the guys
waited them out and were rewarded
with excellent fishing.  Nice work!  The
next few days look like Mother Nature
will have her way with us.  We will see
what happens with these fish when we
get back out.  It will probably be a
search and destroy mission to find
them as the weather will likely move
them around a bit.  Looking forward to
getting back out there!

December 5

Rob Lukens was aboard with the boys
for their charter today.  It was another
excellent day of trolling big bass!  Early
morning we got on a bird play that
produced some excellent action, and
then as the traffic increased and the
birds settled down we had to adjust our
trolling tactics a bit but continued to
put some beautiful fish on deck.  The
guys finished up with their limit of bass
and released several fish, too!
Another great day!

December 4

Joe Drozd and company were aboard
The Bomb this morning for their trip.
Fishing was fantastic as the guys
boxed a limit of beautiful bass during a
great early morning bite.  We ran back
to Harbor View and got the morning
fish cleaned up, and afterwards Kathy
Mcnulty along with her dad and brother
jumped aboard.  We raced right back
to the scene of the crime from the
morning, and found the bite to be full
on red hot on the troll!  We banged out
a limit of fish and began releasing and
then when everyone's arms were tired
we headed for Harbor View.  What a
day!

December 1

Aboard today were Tom and John
Salerno with Shane, Jake, and Ian.
We didn't fish this morning because of
the forecasted stiff southwest winds,
but left late morning as the wind began
to drop and around lunch time it was
full game on as the bass erupted with
the wind dropping off.  We had a
phenomenal trolling bite with an easy
limit of 20 to 30 pound plus bass going
in the box and several released to fight
another day, as well.  What a day and
thanks guys for fishing hard!

November 29

Being a beautiful Saturday, we decided
to change gears today and chase tog
as the crowd on the bass grounds
would most likely be brutal with all the
boats heading out.  We were glad we
did!  With Bill, Bill, Ed, Jack, Jay, and
Jim aboard, we had great togging with
a limit of fish to 8 pounds going in the
box!  Great day....thanks everyone!

November 28

Happy Thanksgiving!  Hope everyone
had a great day yesterday!  We were
back out today with Adam Rizzo and
the boys for their yearly Black Friday
striper charter.  We spent the day
trolling for bass.  It was slow for a while
in the morning with only one short to
show for our efforts, despite a lot of
bird life and bait on the screen.  After
getting a report of some fish in a
different area, we made the move and
found good bass fishing putting 11 in
the box to 35 pounds and one bluefish
around 12 pounds.  Great day, guys!

November 25

We had Mike, Mark, Mike, and Joe
aboard today for their charter.  Winds
were light but seas were a little sloppy
after yesterday's hard blow.  We
started out looking for bass but didn't
find much life in the areas where we
had them last week.  We decided to
change gears and go looking for tog
and we found good fishing on a pair of
drops we fished with a beautiful catch
of tog to 6 pounds hitting the box.
Thanks guys and looking forward to
next time!

November 16 through November 22

It was a good week of fishing in Cape
May!  While the weather didn't allow us
to get out every day, we did get out
several days.  Sea bass fishing was
good on Sunday with Greg, Shawn,
Traci, Jeff, Clyde, and Terry.  We had
some beautiful fish up to 4 to 4.5
pounds to go with our boat limit.  We
made a quick pit stop for tog on the
way home, and while the bite wasn't
insane we did box ten tog to add to the
catch, as well.  Striper fishing picked
up this week.  We only managed to get
one day in on them because of the
hard winds that we had throughout the
week, but Greg, Shawn, and Traci got
their limit plus they put a couple in the
box for me.  They were beautiful fish in
the 20 to 30 pound class with one over
30 pounds, too.  Finally, Dave Henn,
Matt, Jeff, Tommy, Rob, and Anthony
were aboard today(11/22) for tog.
Fishing was very good.  We had a
steady bite throughout the trip with lots
of 3 to 6 pound fish coming over the
rail and several 6 to 8 pounders in the
mix, as well.  We easily had a boat limit
of tog and threw back several nice
keepers, too.  The weather looks
sporty for the next couple days, but we
hope to be back out on Tuesday!
Thank you!

November 9 through November 12

The excellent sea bass fishing
continues!  We've had limits of nice
sea bass on each trip the last few
days.  Fish have been up to 4 pounds
with big slammer bluefish mixing in on
some days.  Give us a call to get
aboard!

November 8, 2014

Mike Scheb, Chuck, Shawn, John,
Traci, and Greg were aboard today
and sea bass fishing was outstanding!
We had a limit of very nice fish, and we
also had a number of big bluefish to
12lbs., as well.  Thanks guys!

November 5, 2014

Greg, Bob, Mike, Dave, Scott, and
Melissa were aboard for a sea bass
trip today.  The weather started out
pretty snotty, but taking our time, we
got to our first of two drops and had
excellent fishing.  When the bite
slowed, we made a short move and got
right back on the fish!  We had an
easy limit of sea bass, along with a
couple of slammer bluefish and a few
triggerfish to sweeten the pot.  What a
day!  Thanks everyone!  Couple days
of wind, and we hope to be back on
them!

November 4, 2014

Kevin Camarote was aboard today with
his buddies.  Fishing was excellent!
We had a drop and reel limit of
beautiful sea bass for the box, and
also had a few big bluefish mixed in, as
well!  Great day with beautiful
weather!  Thanks everyone!
