1000's of NJ Saltwater Fishing Reports, Dozens of Sources, Maps, Wrecks, Historical Search

April 19, 2014

This has to be the windiest I've ever seen this area EVER!  It's not local either.  The folks I know in Florida and New England
are all saying the same thing.  The wind just doesn't want to stop.  Over the Easter holiday, we went out of town for a few days
- sorry for the lack of reports - and guess what?  It was WINDY!  We were able to get out today with Greg, Shawn, Traci, Tom,
Tom, and Steve.  We fished several snags in 75 to 100 feet of water and had a slow, scratchy bite all day with a handful of
nice fish to 8 pounds going in the box, some shorts, and a few big sea bass that we released until next month.  The water is
getting warmer, but there was a giant ground swell today that wasn't doing us any favors.  We'll see what happens Tuesday!
