4-25-14 The boat headed offshore today looking to get into some codfish,,conditions were nice and had a couple of cods pretty quick but overall fishing was slow out there...Inshore seemed to hold more life with more bites in spots that have not had any life since the fall so it seems like the life inshore is starting to happen..Tomorrow and Sunday we are gonna stay inshore and target the inshore grounds looking to get into some blackfish and ling since we had some good reports of some of the northern guys catching ling inside of 100ft of water..So on the menu is blackfish for the weekend,,along with some ling and even some Codfish are showing up inshore as well....We have the crabs and clams for bait,,Tomorrow is gonna be breezy but we are not gonna head to far offshore so the seas should not be to bad for us,,,see ya in the am..
