Grizzly Fishing Report 5-11-2015

We had an excellant last week of tog fishing along with some slammer bluefish in the mix to keep things fun. Visit our face book trips for more photos of a nice week of fishing. You dont have to be a face book member just click on the link from the our home page. We even caught our first flounder saturday. The black drum are here and we will be after them this weekend. Black seabass season opens May 15. Summer Flounder are open all year with this years limit at 4 per passenger at 16".

We started the week off with two half day bachelor party trips. Both trips were successful with plenty for dinner and some limits caught. The following day we had Master Kim out for a beautiful slick calm day of tog fishing. They put together a near limit catch of tog. Jim Ludwig and freinds from Conleys UMC had a great half day trip capturing some nice tog and finishing off with some slammer bluefish. Our allstar crew was aboard next and we headed out in the ocean . The keeper ratio of the tog was not good so we finished the day with 16 tog and a nice batch of slammer bluefish to 14.5lbs. Bernie Smelstoys and freinds sorted through a bunch of short tog to finish with 15 for the dinner table and went on to harvest a nice bluefish each and released several others. Karl Reed and freinds put together a nice catch of tog on their annual spring tog fest trip. Mike Knaub and freinds harvested 16 nice tog and went on to harvest our first flounder along with a big pile of bluefish for the smoker.

Give us a call if you would like to get out. Remember to take the kids fishing!
