Hey gang, Capt. Scott here. The Prowler was out on both trips yesterday. Our morning bottom fishing trip was not as good as it has been the past few trips. However we had big ground swell yesterday and the day before that definitely didn't help things but we did get some nice Big Porgies, Sea Bass and a Blackfish that took the pool. Now for last night. We headed back to where we had the excellent fishing the night before only to find scattered life. We found some readings and worked the jigs. We ended our jigging right before dark with 4 nice keepers and about a dozen shorts. We then switched over to eels and got set up on our first drift. Five minutes into our first drift the wind came up with gusts over 30 out of the north and we were forced to call our night a little early and head for home. All the fish we have caught the last two nights were all nice clean new ocean fish. A good sign that this fall Striper season is just beginning. We are sailing everyday 7:30-2:30 for Porgies, Sea Bass and Blackfish. Clams are supplied and we have crabs. We also sail every Saturday and Sunday 3:30-9:00 Jigging and Eeling for Striped Bass. We look forward to seeing you. Thx., Capt. Scott .
