12/20/15 It has been a while since we have had that tog season chill in the air like this morning. The breeze died down nicely from yesterday making for a very nice day on the blackfish grounds. After a slow start this morning the tog decided to bite when we got some southerly current. The guys had a good mix of keeper and short action for the second half of the day with catches ranging up to limits. Green crabs were definitely the ticket for the fellas today. Tom Hollywood, Staten Island, NY, had a limit and just missed tying Bill Higginson, Flemington, NJ, for the pool! See you in the morning.
