We were happy with our first trip of 2016. There was a strong southerly current all day but not as much wind as predicted. A nice day for early January. The guys worked hard all day and ended up with a nice catch of quality fish to take home. White crabs produced most of the bigger fish today although greens also put fish in the coolers. Catches ranged up to limits with everyone taking at least a couple of nice fish home. Ken Smith, Carteret, NJ, took the pool with a 9 pound 4 ounce fish. See you in the morning.
