01/08/15 We could have used some of today's wind to hold the anchor lines tight yesterday. Very fishable with good fishing today. Not much life on our first drop this morning where we have been fishing recently so we moved off a little deeper and were happy with the bite that we found. Some of the guys ended up with easy limits of nice sized fish while most again had at least a couple of fish to take home. Green and white crabs have both been producing some big fish lately. Highlight of the day was a huge whale which surfaced several times within 40-50 feet of the boat as we fished!! Jack Tabor, Paramus, NJ, took the pool with an 8 pound 8 ounce fish. TOMORROW (SATURDAY) WILL BE THE ONLY FISHABLE DAY THIS WEEKEND. See you in the morning.
