The weather man sure got today's forecast wrong - what suppose to be less than 10 knot winds in the morning from the south - turned into 20k winds from the northeast and all the wind did from there was blow harder. That had an effect on the fishing - the drift was over 2 knots (way to fast) and you needed 16oz or more weight to keep your line down there. We did have some shots at the MACKEREL but because we were drifting so fast the fish just didn't stay with us.

The good news is the fish readings were good and I think with better conditions fishing would have been much better. The forecasted winds for tomorrow (Friday) will keep us at the dock but the weather looks much better for Saturday.
