Made both morning and afternoon trips for stripe bass today from the Atlantic Highlands marina. The fishing was not great but better then we thought it would be considering the cold weather. On the morning trip (8am to 12:30 pm) we picked at a mix of shorts ands keepers. When the trip was over we had a handful of keepers and released about fifteen shorts. The afternoon trip (12:30 to 6pm) the fishing was not as good but we did manage a couple of keepers and some shorts. Most of the fish were caught on clam bait. On both trips we fished on Raritan Bay. The weather for tomorrow morning looks ok but it looks like rain for the afternoon and Tuesday with Wednesday looking like a nice day. Looking forward to seeing everyone soon.
