May 8th, 2016

After a week of terrible weather and not being able to fish, we finally got out this weekend.

Yesterday, we picked away and had shots. The conditions were not that great but we still caught 7-12 lbs blues on jigs. Our pool winner was Paul Treichler from Hamilton Township, NJ with a 12 lb blue!

Today, we were the only boat out of Belmar and fishing started out slow. We went north of our inlet and ended up having very good blue fishing on 8-15 lb blues. At times, we had 10-12 on, other times there were 1-2 on. All were caught on run off jigs, diamond jigs and crocs. Our pool winner was Bill Hannsum from Orwigsburg, PA with a 15 lb blue!

Sailing daily for stripers and blues from 7:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

We would like to wish all the Mothers a very Happy Mothers Day today!!!! We honor and salute all of you!
