The wind started earlier than predicted today and was already blowing when we got to the fluke grounds. We managed a very nice showing of quality sized fish on the first couple of drifts. The wind started to howl and forced us back into our bay with the entire fleet where we found very slow fishing with just a couple of fish a drift for the rest of the day. Frank LaGrace, Hopewell, NJ, took the pool with a very nice 8 pound 11 ounce fish. Looking for better drifting conditions tomorrow. See you in the morning.
