Capt. Joe Massa enjoyed good variety action today on his My Three Sons from Morgan Marina.   Shrewsbury Rocks produced good bottom fishing for blackfish, sea bass and porgies while bunker schools were spotted. Mass caught a little tunny on the way back, and found some school stripers under birds off Keansburg where he caught a doubleheader of 25-and-27-inchers before leaving the flighty stripers. Chuck Many of Annandale chased little tunny when a joined him for an afternoon trip on Tuesday with his Ty Man from Gateway Marina in Highlands,, but the tunny were being put down by too many boats. Many cast a Tsunami shad to release a 24-inch striper. He then went up to the Hudson River to fish sand worms for weakfish. Though we released five up to 26 inches, they were mostly smaller than we'd been hooking. The Sea Hunter from Atlantic Highlands had a hard time keeping up with the stripers today, but managed a few keepers, one slot, and some shorts. Anglers had to cast shad lures.
