Atlantic Highlands fluke fishing June 25 & 26

Made both morning and afternoon trips yesterday and today. On the morning trip yesterday we fished the Reach channel and picked at a mix of shorts and keepers with good drifting conditions. We ended the morning with one of better trips with the number of keepers caught. On the afternoon trip yesterday we could not go back to the Reach channel due to the drifting conditions. We went into Sandy Hook bay and the action was not as good. We were only able to pick at shorts and not as many keepers. On the morning trip today the drifting conditions allowed us to go back to the Reach channel and we another nice morning with a good number of keepers mixed in with the shorts. Tire John took the pool with a  fluke just under 9lbs. On the afternoon trip today again we could not to back to the Reach channel due to the drifting conditions. We went into Sandy Hook bay and it was better today. The short action was good and we ended up with more keepers then yesterday. Tire john came back for the afternoon and caught a fluke just under 8lbs in Sandy Hook bay. You can see his picture and others from the past two days in the gallery. We are fishing everyday making two trips (8am to 12:30 and 1:30 to 6pm). Come make a trip and join us for some fun catching fluke. Looking forward to seeing everyone.
