Atlantic Highlands fluke fishing July 12

Made both morning and afternoon trips again today. On the morning trip we started with no drift. When we got the in coming tide we had a nice drift. Went up to the Reach channel and we picked at a mix of shorts with some keepers until the ship came in it shut the fish down. We went to an area out of the channel and had a pick again of mostly shorts with a few keepers. We did not have as many keepers as we would have liked but we had some nice ones. The big fluke of the morning was a 9lber caught by Craig Smith from Skilman N.J. On the afternoon trip the southeast breeze picked up and we could not hold bottom in the channel so we went into Sandy Hook bay. We had good action there with everyone catching fish but only a few keepers. There are some new pictures in the gallery from today so take a look. We are fluke fishing everyday making two trips (8am to 12:30 and 1:30 to 6pm). Come make a trip and have some fun catching fluke. Looking forward to seeing everyone.
