Atlantic Highlands bottom fishing September 28

As post I yesterday we planned on only making the morning trip today. We fished between the channels and the fishing was good. We had a good pick of porgies with quite a few double headers being caught. Everyone was catching fish. We stayed in that area till the out going tide came against the northeast wind and we started to rock and roll. We then went into the bay where it was calm. The fishing was not as good but we still had a pick. We did not make the afternoon trip due to the increasing northeast wind. There are some new pictures in the gallery from today so take a look. The forecast for the next couple of days is for strong northeast winds with some rain so we will not we fishing. Hopefully this weather will move out so we can resume our fishing schedule (hopefully by the weekend). Then we will be back to fishing everyday making two trips (8am to 12:30 and 1:30 to 6pm). Keep a watch on the weather and when things clear up we will be looking forward to seeing everyone.
